You’ll contribute to architecture, improve system stability and scalability, and help evolve the technical foundations of our Payments domain.\nYou’ll collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Compliance, Operations and other business teams to build reliable solutions and improve critical operational processes.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDesign, develop and maintain backend services in Python 3.11 using Django / DRF\n\nContribute to the architecture and long-term technical development of our Payments systems\n\nBuild and improve RESTful APIs and integrations\n\nWork with complex backend and legacy systems and identify root causes of technical problems\n\nContinuously improve system performance, reliability and scalability\n\nInvestigate and resolve production issues and recurring problems\n\nWork with MySQL and Redis\n\nParticipate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decisions\n\nIdentify and reduce technical debt\n\nImprove development processes, code quality and engineering practices\n\nCollaborate with Product, Compliance, Operations and Business teams\n\nContribute to the evolution of our architecture and internal engineering tools\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n4+ years of experience in backend development\n\nStrong Python skills and deep knowledge of Django or similar frameworks\n\nSolid understanding of relational databases, caching and high-performance backend systems\n\nExperience with REST APIs, service design and distributed systems\n\nExperience working with complex or legacy systems\n\nAbility to independently investigate complex technical problems and identify root causes\n\nExperience working with production systems and improving their stability\n\nStrong ownership and ability to make sound technical decisions\n\nFamiliarity with Git, CI/CD practices and modern engineering workflows\n\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills\n\nEnglish B2+ and fluent Russian\n\nNice to Have\nExperience working in fintech, payments or another regulated industry\n\nFamiliarity with AWS and Docker\n\nExperience with RabbitMQ, Kafka or other message brokers\n\nExperience with payment providers or financial integrations\n\nContributions to open source or personal side projects\n\nHow We Work\nWe’re a lean, collaborative team where engineers have a real influence on architecture, technical decisions and engineering culture.\nWe value ownership, curiosity and continuous improvement.
