We're looking for a strong Data Engineer who can architect, build, and own production-grade data platforms. This is a hands-on IC role; you'll be expected to write code every day, solve complex engineering problems, work directly with clients, and drive technical decisions from design through production.

Requirements:

5+ years in Data Engineering:

  • Apache Kafka (Streaming, DLQ, Replay, Exactly-once).
  • Python and/or Java + Advanced SQL.
  • Batch & Real-time Data Pipelines.
  • CDC, Lakehouse/Medallion Architecture.
  • Data Quality, Validation & Reconciliation Frameworks.
  • MDM, Identity Resolution & Golden Records.
  • Git, YAML/JSON, Source-to-Target Mapping.

We're specifically looking for someone who:

  • Loves being hands-on and building systemsnot just reviewing code.
  • Can independently interact with clients and lead technical discussions.
  • Takes complete ownership from requirements to production.
  • Has worked in a startup or high-growth environment and thrives with ambiguity.
  • Can independently own client conversations and technical decisions.
  • Financial Reconciliation, Schema Registry (Avro/Protobuf), or Mainframe integration experience is a plus.
