The ideal candidate is equally comfortable writing production-grade Python code, architecting AWS-based solutions, and leading a team of engineers through fast-paced sprint cycles.\n\nThe core responsibilities for the job include the following:\n\nTechnical Capabilities in AWS Solution Architecture: \nDesign, build, and orchestrate solutions using core AWS services, including EKS, Lambda, Batch, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch, CFTs, Event Bridge, S3 and Step Functions.\nWorking with Elastic Search or Open Search database services.\nManage and optimize cloud cost governance using tagging strategies and cost allocation best practices.\nWorking experience with cost usage reports from AWS.\nOrchestrate AWS service APIs and functions directly from Python code, building reliable, automated, and scalable workflows.\n\nEngineering and Code Quality: \nDemonstrate strong proficiency in Python programming, writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.\nConduct thorough pull request (PR) reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.\nOwn code coverage from a performance and scalability standpoint, not just functional correctness.\nPartner closely with QA teams to define test coverage strategy and ensure comprehensive validation of features.\n\nTeam & Sprint Leadership: \nLead and mentor a team of 5 engineers, fostering technical growth and accountability.\nOwn the execution and delivery of engineering sprints in an agile environment.\nYou will work under product managers who will take overall responsibility for the product release.\nTake full ownership of a sprint's quality and technical delivery, ensuring commitments are met without compromising standards.\nOperate effectively within a high-velocity, fast-iteration product environment, balancing speed with engineering rigor.\nWork closely with the CTO and infrastructure team to streamline and automate production hygiene -
