We work at the intersection of optics, physics, and code.\nSemiconductor manufacturers can't build what they can't measure. At Invisix, we're solving one of the most technically demanding problems in chip manufacturing: reconstructing the detailed 3D geometry of the most advanced next-generation devices.\nFounded by two ASML veterans with deep roots in short wavelength metrology, we've spent years de-risking this technology. Now we're building the team to bring it to market. If you love to take ownership, collaborate closely with innovators who care deeply about their contributions, and want your work to matter at the frontier of what's physically possible, this is the place to be.\nWe're a small team, but the depth of knowledge inside Invisix is anything but small. Our culture is professional and fast-paced, with short communication lines and a strong sense of shared purpose. Everyone here is committed, and everyone knows their work directly contributes to something bigger.\nIf you want to be part of shaping an industry rather than just working in it, this is the place.\nThe role\nWe're strengthening the team that designs the sensing, calibration and optics core of our semiconductor metrology tool. This is the part that determines how well the tool sees and measures. It's a complex optical system, embedded deep in the tool's hardware, governed as much by physics as by code.\nThis is not a software role wrapped around someone else's physics. It's the physics and the math themselves, plus the software needed to bring them to life.\nBecause this spectrum of expertise is wide, we have several positions open to cover it, rather than one fixed profile. If you have specialist knowledge in one of the areas below, that's reason enough to reach out. You don't need to cover all of them.\nWhere your expertise could fit\nOptical system design: illumination, lenses and sensors closest to the physics of the measurement\n\nCalibration algorithms: the mathematical models and routines that keep the equipment accurate over time\n\nPhysics & measurement modeling: the optical, thermal and mechanical effects that influence accuracy\n\nWafer alignment & coordinate transformations: specifying the alignment function and the transformations that map sensor and mark detections onto wafer, stage, and tool reference frames\n\nImage processing & sensor data pipelines: turning raw sensor data into calibrated images with low latency and high throughput\n\nWhichever of these is your specialty, most of the roles we're filling also ask for some ability to turn that expertise into working software, translating a model or algorithm into a tested, reusable implementation.\nIs this you?\nSpecialist, in-depth knowledge in one (or more) of the areas above. Depth in a single field matters more to us than broad but shallow coverage of all of them\n\nYou enjoy work that sits close to the physics and mathematics of the tool, not just the software layer wrapped around it\n\nYou like working in a small, close-knit team, helping set technical direction while staying hands-on yourself\n\nYou're comfortable in a growing startup environment, where roles take shape around the people who join, not the other way around\n\nWhat we offer\nA role at the heart of Invisix's technology, directly shaping the core of the tool\n\nA close-knit, highly skilled team with deep expertise in optics, physics and metrology\n\nReal autonomy: we don't track working hours, and offer unlimited vacation days. That freedom is earned by the ownership you take, not given for free\n\nPlenty of room to define the role yourself. This one posting covers several positions, and where you land depends on where your expertise turns out to be strongest\n\nInterested?\nIf any part of this spectrum speaks to you, we'd like to hear from you, even if you only recognize yourself in one of the areas above. Submit your resume, and let's find out together if there's a match.\nThe selection process\nIntroductory call with HR\n\nTechnical interview with one of our senior metrology engineers\n\nFinal interview with our CEO or CTO\n\nContact us!\nIf this is not the position for you, but you are interested in registering your interest, reach out to us at .\nDiversity and inclusion\nAt Invisix, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive culture where ideas and humans thrive. Our recruitment reflects this commitment. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and will judge every candidate on their merits and what they can contribute to our team.\nWe value people regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, disability or any other aspect of your identity. We're looking for talented, driven individuals who share our values of integrity, collaboration, and making an impact. If you believe you can thrive with us, we want to hear from you.\nData processing\nWhen you apply for this position, your information will be processed by Invisix Measuring Systems and held in our applicant tracking system. Your data may be retained to consider you for current and future opportunities at Invisix.
