Invitation Homes is a place where possibility lives.\nThe Analyst, Asset Management is responsible for providing research, analysis, reporting and development to support the Asset and Investment Management Group.\nWhat You’ll Do \nPrepare financial analyses and reports\n\nAssist with property level asset management decisions and implementation of Asset Management programs\n\nAbility to underwrite investment properties, establishing monthly rental rate, property value and required capital investment\n\nProvide support to the capital allocation, budgeting and planning process\n\nMaintain a thorough understanding of company’s financial information systems including the ability to write financial reports and make inquiries for data\n\nPrepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports for internal and external stakeholders\n\nForecast, analyze and provide summary of organizational trends\n\nCreate specified ad hoc reports, graphs and charts of financial data\n\nDevelop and update models to provide analysis for various financial conditions related to Asset and Investment Management, Accounting and Operations\n\nProvide ongoing tracking, reporting and analysis of trends in various operating areas\n\nPrepare and analyze Daily Cash Analysis reports and weekly Cash Forecasting\n\nPrepare and analyze Consolidated Reporting to Investor\n\nProvide backup to Accounting when required\n\nResearch real estate markets for potential opportunities\n\nAnalyze and prepare recommendations for improving investment and management processes\n\nMonitor and evaluate financial and operating results on a periodic basis as required\n\nTrack economic and performance indicators within real estate markets\n\nTimely interpretation of data for recommendations\n\nComplete projects assigned by Asset Management leadership\n\nWho We’re Looking For \nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, Economics, Mathematics or a related field\n\nQuantitative degree or supportive coursework preferred\n\n0 to 2+ years of experience in residential asset management or institutional real estate; Single family preferred\n\n0 to 2+ years of experience in extensive, detailed data analysis and reporting\n\nCurrent driver’s license and automobile insurance\n\nComprehension of federal fair housing laws and any applicable local housing provisions\n\nAbility to create and design general marketing pieces for in-house production\n\nKnowledge of current single-family customer product demands, drivers, and trends\n\nProficiency utilizing Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and basic OS tools\n\nProficiency in a programming language (R or Python preferred)\n\nStrong data and financial modeling skills required\n\nExperience utilizing Salesforce for workflow and approval management\n\nExperience utilizing Yardi or similar property management software\n\nExperience utilizing Tableau, PowerBI or other data visualization software\n\nKnowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (SQL) beneficial\n\nExcellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to relate to and get along with others\n\nProfessional verbal and written communication skills\n\nAbility to facilitate presentations or speak in public to large groups of people\n\nStrong organizational and time-management skills\n\nAbility to multi-task and maintain flexibility and creativity in a variety of situations\n\nAbility to analyze and resolve problems\n\nAbility to perform intermediate mathematical functions\n\nAbility to set and meet goals and consistently meet deadlines\n\nAbility to maintain confidentiality\n\nWhy Invitation Homes \nWe stand for flexibility, opportunity, and a home that people can make their own.
