We continue to innovate with smart home technology, an industry-leading maintenance app, and other lifestyle-enhancing services that make leasing easier than owning.\nThe Role\nThe Regional Technology Analyst I provides hands-on technology support across an assigned geographic region containing multiple corporate, field, and operational locations. Although the position may have a designated home office, it is not assigned exclusively to that location.\nThis position supports our West Coast but may assist other regions based on business priorities, projects, outages, or staffing needs. The Analyst serves as a regional connection between Desktop Support, Helpdesk, Infrastructure, Network, Security, Telecommunications, Technology Assets, and other technology teams.\nThe position provides advanced endpoint support while assisting with infrastructure equipment, network connectivity, office technology, conference rooms, telecommunications, deployments, office openings, relocations, and enterprise technology initiatives.\nWhat you'll do day-to-day:\nRegional Technology Support: 35%\nProvide remote and on-site support for offices across an assigned region, serving as the escalation point for issues the Service Desk cannot resolve remotely.\nTroubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, authentication, and mobile-device issues, and guide Service Desk and Desktop Support staff.\nIdentify recurring problems and work with technology teams, Facilities, Security, and regional business leaders on long-term fixes.\nAssist other regions during projects, outages, or staffing needs.\nParticipate in after-hours support for planned maintenance, projects, and critical incidents when needed.\nInfrastructure and Network Support: 25%\nProvide hands-on assistance to Infrastructure and Network teams, including installing, labeling, testing, and documenting equipment such as switches, wireless access points, servers, and cabling, following established procedures.\nAct as “remote hands” for centralized teams, including equipment checks, approved reboots, cable tracing, and hardware replacement.\nHelp troubleshoot internet circuits and telecommunications with internal teams and service providers.\nReport physical or environmental concerns that could affect equipment, such as power, cooling, or water exposure.\nSupport business-continuity and major-incident response when on-site help is needed.\nOffice Projects and Technology Deployments: 20%\nSupport office openings, closures, relocations, remodels, and employee moves.\nCoordinate, install, and validate circuits, cabling, network hardware, workstations, printers, and conference-room technology.\nTest technology to confirm it is ready before employees move in.\nEndpoint and Collaboration Technology: 15%\nSupport Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Microsoft 365, and approved business applications.\nAssist with device setup, deployment, replacement, recovery, and security compliance.\nSupport conference rooms, audiovisual systems, printers, and related peripherals such as docking stations, monitors, headsets, and cameras.\nAsset and Vendor Support: 5%\nHelp manage technology assets across the region, including deployments, transfers, inventory, audits, and approved disposal.\nCoordinate on-site vendor visits and deliveries, verify their work meets organizational standards, and escalate concerns to leadership.\nWhat You Bring\nThis role calls for advanced desktop and network/infrastructure support experience (macOS and multi-office support preferred), plus an associate degree or 3-4 years of equivalent experience, with certifications like CompTIA A+/Network+, Microsoft 365, ITIL, or Apple favored. It also requires regional travel, occasional after-hours work, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in tight spaces like network closets, and the ability to manage competing priorities independently.\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience supporting multiple offices or geographically distributed business locations is preferred. \nExperience providing advanced desktop support and assisting with infrastructure or network-related activities. \nExperience supporting macOS devices is preferred. \nEducation/Certifications:\nAssociate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
