Content Producer

About the role
We're looking for a creator who can make saving money genuinely entertaining. Your content has one job: get people to try Cashiu. You'll own short-form video end to end, from idea to posted, and track which videos drive views and app installs, so we can double down on what works.

About Cashiu
Cashiu turns everyday online shopping into real cashback. Copy a product link, paste it in, shop as usual, and get cash back automatically. We're part of Involve Asia's family of consumer products, backed by the performance-marketing infrastructure behind hundreds of brand partnerships across Southeast Asia.

What you'll do

• Own concepts and scripts for short-form video (TikTok, Instagram Reels). The Project Lead reviews and approves creative direction.
• Shoot and edit your own content. Our setup is smartphone-first and in-office, so formats are mostly front-facing, screen recordings and simple motion.
• Appear on camera regularly, and direct UGC creators or teammates when a format needs other faces.
• Turn saving money into content people actually want to watch: skits, POVs, trends, shopping hacks, reactions.
• Post and schedule your content on TikTok and Instagram, write captions, and engage with comments on your posts. Customer support queries are routed to our CS team.
• Spot trends early and adapt them to Cashiu's voice within days, not weeks.
• Review TikTok and Instagram analytics weekly: hook rate, watch time, and which videos bring installs. Pitch what to test next.
• Deliver a steady weekly output: [3-5 videos/week], a mix of planned series and fast trend reactions.
• Prepare cut-downs of top-performing videos for use in paid ads.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of content creation experience. Fresh graduates are welcome if your portfolio is strong.
• You have a portfolio or accounts (personal or brand) showing organic growth. This matters more than years or credentials. Please include analytics screenshots.
• Comfortable on camera. You don't need to be an influencer, but you shouldn't dread being in front of it.
• Fluent in internet culture and short-form pacing. You know why a video works in the first 2 seconds, not just that it trended.
• Confident in English and Bahasa Malaysia, and able to write in Manglish when the format calls for it. [Mandarin is a plus]
• Self-directed on execution and open to feedback on direction. You're not expected to own strategy alone.
