If you’re looking for the fastest way to become a great engineer, or eventually start your own company, it’s hard to beat working directly with Sam Lown (founding CTO of Cabify) and Juan Moliner (ex-BCG) and a small, high-bar team where your work ships to production and direct customer interaction.\nThis is a full-time role for someone who has completed (or is about to complete) university and can join Invopop within 1-2 months.\nAbout Invopop\nInvopop helps global companies like SumUp, Fever, or DeepL manage electronic invoicing in over 25 countries through a single API.\nIn the next five years, more than 40 countries, including the entire EU, will mandate that businesses send invoices electronically in XML formats and report them live to tax authorities. This reduces fraud and enables companies to automate invoice processing instead of relying on OCR. There’s only one catch: each country has defined unique standards, forcing global companies to build dozens of local integrations-or integrate once with Invopop.\nInvopop was founded by Sam Lown, co-founder and former CTO of Cabify (Spain's first tech unicorn), and Juan Moliner (ex-BCG), based on Sam’s experience dealing with this problem in ten Latin American countries with Cabify\nWe’ve raised €2.8M from top-tier venture capital firms, including YCombinator (W23), and have been named the Best Startup at South Summit 2024 and Madrid's Hottest Startup of 2024 by Wired.\nYour mission as a Graduate Product Engineer\nYou’ll own one or more Apps from research to production\nDesign and build backend integrations in Golang\n\nInvestigate new countries and systems: read docs, interpret requirements, ask questions, and turn ambiguity into a clear plan.\n\nMake product decisions with support: what to build first, what to cut, when to ship.\n\nSupport customers using your integrations and iterate based on real feedback.\n\nWho we're looking for\nDegree in Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering, or a proven track record building software outside formal education.\n\nEvidence of exceptional ability: top of your class, standout projects, or similar\n\nBuilder mindset: side projects, open-source contributions, hackathons\n\nFluent English (spoken and written).
