You won't be a cog in a machine — you'll shape projects, work directly with clients, and see your impact from day one.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nAs a Smart Contract Engineer at Invorious, you'll work across client projects spanning DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, and custom blockchain infrastructure. You'll be responsible for writing secure, gas-efficient contracts, collaborating with frontend and backend engineers, and helping clients navigate the technical and security trade-offs of on-chain development.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nDesign, develop, and deploy smart contracts in Solidity\n\nWrite comprehensive tests and perform gas optimization\n\nConduct internal security reviews and coordinate with external auditors\n\nIntegrate contracts with frontend and backend services\n\nCollaborate directly with clients to translate requirements into technical solutions\n\nStay current with EVM upgrades, EIPs, and emerging standards\n\nContribute to internal best practices, tooling, and reusable contract libraries\n\nRequirements:\n\n2+ years of smart contract development experience\n\nStrong proficiency in Solidity and EVM internals\n\nExperience with development frameworks (Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle)\n\nSolid understanding of security best practices and common vulnerabilities (reentrancy, overflow, access control, etc.)\n\nFamiliarity with testing frameworks (Mocha, Chai, Foundry tests)\n\nExperience deploying to mainnet and testnets\n\nStrong communication skills — you'll work directly with clients\n\nAbility to work autonomously in a small, fast-moving team\n\nNice to Have:\n\nExperience with Rust, Vyper, or Move\n\nKnowledge of DeFi protocols, NFTs, or DAO infrastructure\n\nContributions to open-source Web3 projects\n\nExperience with upgradeable contracts (proxy patterns) and multi-sig setups\n\nFamiliarity with The Graph, IPFS, or on-chain
