The technician will serve as a liaison between INX and the customer and will be responsible for maintaining INX's on-site ink room. As an Inplant Tech you will be responsible for:\nMaintaining INX's excellent relationship with the customer\nReviewing scheduling and coordinating jobs with customer\nBeing available for service call-ins as needed\nPerforming technical service, color matching, ink production and dispensing ink\nEvaluating production requirements based on customer schedule changes\nControlling Work-off\nInventory management and monthly consignment counts \nPerforming job estimates\nProviding press-side technical support\nCompleting monthly reports\nPerforming Quality Control tests on incoming and site-manufactured batches \nFollowing all safety requirements\nData entry accuracy\nManufacturing batches under 100 pounds\n To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:\nHave a High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent\nBe able to match colors effectively and pass a color vision test\nDemonstrate excellent customer service skills\nEffectively communicate with peers and customers\nHave excellent written, reading comprehension and math skills\nDemonstrate proficient with Microsoft Suite programs and other computer skills\nHave the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently\nHave good organization skills\n2 to 5 years of work related experience\nIn addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:\nSpectrophotometer knowledge & experience helpful\nTechnically qualified to service Offset Sheetfed products\nFamiliar with X-Rite IQC\nFlexible packaging knowledge\nFlexographic printing knowledge\nSolvent ink knowledge\nPrevious lab, inplant, and warehouse experience\nSAP Knowledge\nInplant pressroom experience\nCollege degree\n We offer a competitive salary with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, pet insurance, HSA and FSA, 401(k), and more.
