Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations.\nAre you detail-oriented and enjoy putting out a high-quality product? We are seeking a Quality Control Technician for our Ink Lab. Check out this opportunity to be part of our team and contribute to our growth and success. As a Quality Control Tech, you will be responsible for:\nPerforming quality control testing of production batches of inks and coatings\nCompleting associated clerical work (entering results into SAP, printing labels, filing, etc.)\nPerforming 5S cleaning and maintaining the area\nEstablishing and maintaining accurate and complete quality records in SAP\nPerforming color quality tests; making batch additions and adjustments\nImplementing necessary and timely batch corrections directly to Production\nCalibrating and verifying test equipment\nInvestigating and analyzing non-conforming batches (internal and external)\nSupporting Lean Manufacturing\nEnsuring sample retention management\nPerforming some customer proofing\n To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:\nHave a high school diploma or GED equivalent\nBe able to pass a color vision test\nDemonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Suite programs (MS Office) and other computer skills\nBe flexible to cover other shifts if needed\nHave excellent verbal, written, reading comprehension and good math skills\nHave 6 to 12 months previous Lab/QC related work experience\nBe able to stand for long periods of time\nIn addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:\nAn understanding of manufacturing operations and basic aspects of printing technologies\nExperience working in a high volume department\nPrior experience in Lean Manufacturing facility\nTrade or Tech school\nAvailability and willingness to work overtime as needed\nSAP Knowledge\nPrevious experience in the ink industry\n We offer a competitive salary with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, pet insurance, HSA and FSA, 401(k), and more.
