Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations.\nWe are seeking Mill/Mixer Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train right candidate to operate a mill machine and on TPM activities. As a Mill/Mixer Operator you will be responsible for:\nRunning batches of ink at proper mill settings\nPackaging finished product in various containers and applying labels\nCleaning and maintaining machines to TPM Standards\nLearning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activities\nWeigh-Up Batches: Following proper process order of addition. Shifting between auto and manual steps\nMix Batch: Discharging pigment and operating mixer safely; following and adhering to all INX Mixer SOP's\n Hockmeyer mill operation: Running and maintaining optimum OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) standards\nCreating and maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing times\nCanning\nOperating the following: Press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift\nActing as a QC liaison, providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data\nCompleting scheduled maintenance and utilizing troubleshooting procedures.\nHelping with repacks\n To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:\nHave a high school diploma or GED equivalent\nHave 3 months of related work experience\nDemonstrate good math and basic computer skills\nPay attention to detail\nBe reliable to work assigned shift\nBe flexible to work overtime as required\nHave a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background\nBe able to perform an active role with any multi-disciplinary teams\nHave good attendance and punctuality\nBe able to lift up to 50 lbs\nIn addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:\nForklift experience, but we can train you\nMixing, mill, and pump filter industry background\nPrevious experience in the ink industry\n We offer a competitive salary with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, pet insurance, HSA and FSA, 401(k), and more.
