This individual will direct, coordinate, and plan the activities of the Quality Control program and the related work force involved in special test procedures to analyze components and physical properties of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods to ensure continuous production of product consistent with established standards, serving as leave person for a group of employees, normally to a maximum of 15 employees. Communicates procedures to all subordinates, assuring that they are understood and implemented when applicable. You will be responsible to:\nDevelop and institute new test procedures, documentation, and policies for QC and for proper training of all QC technicians.\nAssign responsibilities and specific work or functional activities to QC technicians, and schedules flow in conjunction with Branch and Customer requests.\nDevelop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.\nFormulate and maintain QC objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.\nDirect workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.\nConduct laboratory tests independently, interprets results, makes and oversees additions or product currently in-process\nCompile and analyze test information to determine operating efficiency of process or equipment and to diagnose malfunctions.\nConfer with scientists or engineers to conduct analyses, interpret test results, or develop nonstandard tests.\nRecommend measures to improve testing procedures and use of equipment. Maintains time and testing records\nResponsible for obtaining and disseminating technical knowledge of raw materials, finished products, processes, and equipment useful to QC to obtain desired objectives.\nResponsible for assuring proper care and maintenance is being performed on all lab equipment and instruments\nPlan, promote, and organize training activities related to product quality and reliability.\nParticipate or direct resolution of any QC problem encountered by customers and investigate complaints on existing products\n To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:\nHave one year certificate from college or technical school; or 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. \nPrevious supervisory experience\nPrevious laboratory experience\nHave excellent written and verbal communication skills\nDemonstrate efficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).\nDemonstrate good leadership skills.\nPossess good math and analytical skills.\nIn addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:\nPrevious experience within the Ink Industry\n We offer a competitive salary with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, pet insurance, HSA and FSA, 401(k), and more.
