Senior Feature Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Feature Analyst with strong business analysis and data analysis expertise to join a leading organisation. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who can bridge the gap between business and technology, translating complex business needs into delivery-ready requirements while leveraging data to drive informed decision-making.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical specialists within an Agile environment to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements Management

• Lead the elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management of business and functional requirements.
• Translate complex business needs into clear, structured, and delivery-ready user stories, features, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and stakeholder engagements across business and technology teams.
• Ensure alignment between business objectives, customer needs, and solution delivery.

Data Analysis & Insights

• Analyse complex datasets to identify business trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Work with data models, reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytical tools to support business decision-making.
• Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and development teams to define data requirements and ensure data integrity.
• Support data-driven product and feature development through meaningful insights and recommendations.

Process Analysis & Optimisation

• Analyse and document current and future state business processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Develop process models, workflows, and business process documentation.
• Support business transformation initiatives through process optimisation and continuous improvement practices.

Agile Delivery & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a liaison between business, data, and technology teams.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Work within Agile frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and effective communication throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Senior Feature Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong business analysis and requirements management expertise.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and facilitation skills.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments, including SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
• Strong process modelling and business process optimisation capabilities.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable and delivery-ready solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.

Data-Focused Experience

• Advanced data analysis skills with the ability to interpret and leverage complex datasets.
• Experience with:
  • Data modelling
  • SQL and database querying
  • Reporting and analytics tools
  • Dashboard development and reporting solutions
  • Data analysis methodologies and techniques
• Ability to leverage data insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.

Advantageous Experience

• Banking and Financial Services industry experience.
• Exposure to digital transformation programmes.
• Experience within payments, card, modernisation, or large-scale technology transformation initiatives.
• Understanding of enterprise data ecosystems and data governance principles.

Qualifications

• Relevant Degree or Diploma in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Commerce, or a related field.
• Business Analysis certifications (CBAP, CCBA, FTI, IIBA, or similar) advantageous.
• Agile certifications or SAFe certifications advantageous.
