This role is ideal for an experienced professional who can bridge the gap between business and technology, translating complex business needs into delivery-ready requirements while leveraging data to drive informed decision-making.\nYou will work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical specialists within an Agile environment to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives and business outcomes.\nKey Responsibilities\nBusiness Analysis & Requirements Management\nLead the elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management of business and functional requirements.\nTranslate complex business needs into clear, structured, and delivery-ready user stories, features, and acceptance criteria.\nFacilitate workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and stakeholder engagements across business and technology teams.\nEnsure alignment between business objectives, customer needs, and solution delivery.\nData Analysis & Insights\nAnalyse complex datasets to identify business trends, opportunities, and risks.\nWork with data models, reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytical tools to support business decision-making.\nCollaborate with data engineering, analytics, and development teams to define data requirements and ensure data integrity.\nSupport data-driven product and feature development through meaningful insights and recommendations.\nProcess Analysis & Optimisation\nAnalyse and document current and future state business processes.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.\nDevelop process models, workflows, and business process documentation.\nSupport business transformation initiatives through process optimisation and continuous improvement practices.\nAgile Delivery & Stakeholder Management\nAct as a liaison between business, data, and technology teams.\nParticipate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.\nWork within Agile frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.\nBuild strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and effective communication throughout the delivery lifecycle.\nRequirements\nEssential Skills & Experience\nProven experience as a Senior Feature Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.\nStrong business analysis and requirements management expertise.\nExceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and facilitation skills.\nExperience working within Agile delivery environments, including SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.\nStrong process modelling and business process optimisation capabilities.\nAbility to translate complex business requirements into actionable and delivery-ready solutions.\nExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.\nData-Focused Experience\nAdvanced data analysis skills with the ability to interpret and leverage complex datasets.\nExperience with:Data modelling\nSQL and database querying\nReporting and analytics tools\nDashboard development and reporting solutions\nData analysis methodologies and techniques\n\nAbility to leverage data insights to support strategic and operational decision-making.\nAdvantageous Experience\nBanking and Financial Services industry experience.\nExposure to digital transformation programmes.\nExperience within payments, card, modernisation, or large-scale technology transformation initiatives.\nUnderstanding of enterprise data ecosystems and data governance principles.\nQualifications\nRelevant Degree or Diploma in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Commerce, or a related field.\nBusiness Analysis certifications (CBAP, CCBA, FTI, IIBA, or similar) advantageous.\nAgile certifications or SAFe certifications advantageous.\nFurther details:\nContract position\nLocation: Johannesburg (Hybrid way of work)\nSeniority level: Senior (8+ years)\nIndustry experience: Financial Services/ Banking would be beneficial\nWhy work for us?\nWant to work for an organization that solves complex real-world problems with innovative software solutions?
