Acting as a senior technical escalation point within the Managed Services team, you'll take ownership of complex incidents, service requests, and infrastructure challenges across a diverse Microsoft-focused technology stack.\nYou'll work extensively with Microsoft Azure, supporting and optimising IaaS workloads, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, Windows Server platforms, networking, storage, and virtualised infrastructure. You'll also provide support across Linux systems and on-premises infrastructure where required, ensuring a seamless experience across hybrid environments.\nWorking closely with fellow engineers, technical leads, and service teams, you'll:\nAct as a senior escalation point for complex cloud and infrastructure issues, driving incidents through to resolution.\nTroubleshoot and optimise Azure-based services, including virtual machines, networking, storage, identity, and Azure Virtual Desktop environments.\nSupport and maintain Windows Server, Linux, and virtualised platforms across customer estates.\nContribute to infrastructure improvements, automation initiatives, and service enhancement projects using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.\nProactively identify opportunities to improve platform performance, reliability, security, and operational efficiency.\nMentor and support junior engineers, sharing knowledge and helping to develop technical capability across the team.\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to deliver exceptional service and technical outcomes.\nAssist in the implementation of new cloud solutions and migration projects, ensuring best practices are followed throughout.\nThis is an opportunity to combine deep technical troubleshooting with continuous improvement, helping shape the future of our cloud services while developing your own expertise across modern Microsoft cloud technologies.\nWe want to hear from you if you:\nHave strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS, Windows Server administration, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), including FSLogix profile management\nHold, or are working towards, an AZ-140 (Azure Virtual Desktop) certification\nAre confident working with Linux systems and physical server infrastructure\nHave solid knowledge of storage and networking technologies, troubleshooting across hybrid and on-premises environments\nHave strong exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps practices, with an interest in developing this further\nHold, or are working towards, an AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) certification\nEnjoy mentoring junior team members and contributing to a collaborative, high-performing cloud engineering team\nThrive in a fast-paced environment, owning complex technical challenges from investigation through to resolution\n3 years minimum of working at another MSP and have a understanding of ITIL practices \nWhat's in it for me?\nSalary: £ Dependent on experience + benefits\nWho you'll be doing it for:\nAtech part of the Iomart Group is a highly accredited Microsoft Partner who delivers transformed technology with managed services.
