You'll be working in conjunction with like-minded departments such as software engineering to deploy new products and manage our infrastructure, associated processes, and systems.\n\nResponsibilities: \nBuilding and maintaining tools, solutions, and microservices associated with deployment and our operations platform, ensuring that all meet our customer service standards and reduce errors.\nActively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production, catching and solving issues before launch.\nTest our system integrity and implement designs, application development, and other processes related to infrastructure, making improvements as needed.\nSpecifying, documenting, and developing new product features and writing automated scripts.\nManage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related processes.\nWork with open-source technologies as needed.\nWork with CI and CD tools and source control such as GIT.\nOffer technical support where needed, developing software for our back-end systems.\nStay current with industry trends and source new ways for our business to improve.\nParticipate in on-call rotations.\n\nRequirements: \nStrong experience with Linux-based infrastructures and Linux/Unix administration.\nStrong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, Groovy, and Bash.\nExperience with open-source technologies and cloud services.\nStrong communication skills and ability to explain protocols and processes with the team and management.\nStellar troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems.\nCurrent with industry trends, IT ops, and industry best practices, and able to identify the ones we should implement.\nSolid team player.\n\nGood To Have: \nExperience with cloud providers, especially AWS.\nExperience with databases such as PostgreSQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, SOLR, Redis, etc.\nExperience with monitoring solutions (e. g., AppDynamics, DataDog, Icinga, New Relic).\nExperience in infrastructure as code using Puppet, Chef, Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.\nSkills\nbash, devops, groovy, linux, python, ruby,
