This role works from engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards to ensure every product meets strict safety, performance, and regulatory requirements.\nResponsibilities:\nAssemble, install, and integrate mechanical, electrical, and/or structural components per work instructions, and schematics\nRead and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, and specifications\nAssist with functional tests, calibrations, and troubleshooting on systems and subassemblies\nConduct visual and dimensional inspections using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, gauges)\nInstall and route wire harnesses\nDocument work accurately in work instructions\nIdentify and report nonconformances, and support corrective actions with Quality and Engineering\nMaintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with FOD (foreign object debris) and 5S practices\nFollow all safety, environmental, and regulatory procedures\nSupport continuous improvement and, where applicable, mentor junior technicians\nRequirements:\nHigh school diploma or GED\n[4+] years of experience in aerospace, aviation, defense, or precision manufacturing\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation\nProficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality\nU.S. person status required for ITAR/EAR-controlled work\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nAssociate degree or certificate in aviation maintenance, avionics, or a related technical field\nIPC/WHMA-A-620 or J-STD-001 certification (for electronics/wiring roles)\nFamiliarity with AS9100 standards\nExperience with ERP/MRO software\nWorking Conditions:\nProduction floor, or lab environment; may include noise, fumes, and temperature variation\nOvertime and weekend work as needed\nThe total compensation package includes base, bonus, equity, and a range of benefit options found on our career site.\nIf this role has a commission structure, the compensation range below just reflects the base compensation range.\nWage Transparency:\n$68,000—$102,000 USD\nCompensation will vary based on individual factors such as education, qualifications, and experience of the final candidate(s), specific office location, and calibration against relevant market data and internal team equity.
