available in Paris, France, or Lisbon, Portugal, offering the chance to work on challenging offshore projects within a dynamic, multicultural engineering environment.\n As a Senior Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating Installation & Construction (I&C) engineering activities across offshore and subsea projects, ensuring technical compliance, operational readiness, and efficient execution.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead and coordinate Installation & Construction engineering activities across project packages, tenders, and engineering studies.\nAct as the key technical interface between engineering teams, project management, clients, and offshore operations.\nReview the installability of subsea equipment, tooling, and products, including third-party solutions.\nCoordinate engineering activities related to Umbilical Installation, Flexible Lay, and Lifting Operations.\nManage engineering deliverables, technical documentation, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.\nConduct constructability reviews, risk assessments, and operational readiness reviews.\nParticipate in Design Reviews and HAZID workshops, ensuring installation requirements are addressed during project development.\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate installation risks while managing technical changes.\nSupport offshore operations, including vessel mobilisation and offshore installation campaigns.\nCollaborate with procurement and engineering teams to develop technical specifications and evaluate installation equipment.\nProvide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and engineering standards.\nPromote continuous improvement through lessons learned, innovative installation methodologies, and industry best practices.\n Education & Experience:\nMaster's degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.\nMinimum 6-8 years of professional experience in the offshore/subsea installation industry.\nStrong technical expertise in Subsea Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines (SURF) and offshore vessel operations.\nProven engineering experience in Umbilical Installation, Flexible Lay, and Lifting Operations.\nExperience in offshore installation engineering, construction methodologies, and equipment installability.\nDemonstrated expertise in risk assessments, risk mitigation, and management of change.\nAbility to coordinate and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams.\nExperience supporting offshore installation projects, from engineering preparation to execution.\nTechnical & Soft Skills:\nStrong understanding of subsea installation methodologies and offshore construction operations.\nAbility to manage technical interfaces across multiple engineering disciplines.\nExcellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to mentor and guide junior engineers.\nFamiliarity with HAZID, constructability assessments, and readiness reviews.\nProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nFluent English, both written and spoken.\nPortuguese is an advantage.\n Position: Senior Installation Engineer\nLocation:
