This will be Full time opportunity based out of our office in Santa Clara, California. It will be a Hybrid work opportunity.\nResponsibilities:\nIP Infusion is looking for a motivated and talented individual interested in working as a Principal Engineer.\n\nImplement solutions in one or more areas related to Segment Routing MPLS and Segment Routing IPv6 including TI-LFA, QoS, BFD and SDN technologies in the IPI Ocnos Network Operating System.\nDesign/implement Hardware Abstraction layer code to integrate merchant silicon (and SDKs) to provide seamless forwarding plane solutions which can be leveraged across different OcNOS SKU's.\nWrite detailed Design specs, coding, unit and functional testing in Agile and waterfall software development environment. \nParticipate in Architectural discussions, Design reviews, peer code review and QA test plan review.\nWork with multi-site Development/Architecture team to implement the above.\nTroubleshoot and debug protocol-related issues in both lab and customer environments.\nQualifications:\nMust have 7+ years of experience in design and development of Layer 2 or Layer 3 Networking protocols.\nHands-on development experience in Segment Routing domain (SR-MPLS, OSPF-SR, IS-IS SR, TI-LFA, BFD, QoS). \nHands-on development experience with one or more MPLS protocols (LDP, RSVP, BGP LU)\nWorking knowledge of different Layer 2 and Layer 3 services on top of Segment Routing or MPLS transports (L2VPN, L3VPN, EVPN)\nWorking Knowledge of Segment Routing in the IPv6 data plane is highly desirable.\nHands on experience with ipv4/ipv6 IP protocols, Access Lists, Route maps and Policies.\nExperience with Forwarding plane software, Broadcom SDK (Jericho+ chipset) highly desired.\nVery Strong C/C++ coding and Debugging skills.\nFamiliarity with network testing and debugging tools (GDB, Valgrind, GCov)\nDevelopment experience in multi-threaded environment on Linux.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nB.S or M.S in Computer Science or related field.\nCompensation Information:\n\nPlease note that the offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, experience, qualifications, the external labor market, and internal equity. Variable incentives may also be offered. The Salary range for this role is $180,000 -$220,000/ annual salary.
