Evaluate data that will determine short and long term stock levels in conjunction with maximizing the throughput for manufacturing. \n\nPrinciple Accountabilities\nUtilize integrated Manufacturing Execution Systems and Warehouse Management Systems to manage and determine incoming raw material supplies & prioritize and schedule production based on customer order requirements.\nServe as a resource and interact with the Logistics team that is responsible for warehousing, shipping, and receiving activities.\nManage and develop supply base to support organization objectives.\nEvaluate requisition requirements by analyzing required quantities, specifications, and delivery needs.\nRecommend cost saving measures for areas of responsibility. Identify opportunities, create project plan, and implement approved measures.\nKnowledge of production areas and product flow to ensure proper scheduling. Create production plans staying informed of planned downtime and preventive maintenance schedules.\nInterpret production schedule to provide finished goods availability information to Sales, Customer Service or others.\nDaily monitor the finished goods stock levels, order amounts and production status. Identify slow moving and obsolete inventories and make recommendations regarding disposition of items. Communicate with Operations Management to make changes as necessary.\nEvaluate stock level requirements on a regular basis and adjust the stock levels to reflect changes in demand.\nWork with Operations Management and Corporate Scheduling to assess capacity constraints and opportunities for improving customer service.\nPeriodically review the stock levels, lead-times and capacity models to ensure accuracy.\nProduct complexity management utilizing continuous improvement methods and tools.\nMust be willing to engage production personnel and provide communication for production requirements, especially advanced planning of change-over and set-up requirements.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nEssential Skills and Experience\nBachelor degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred \nAt least 4-7 years’ experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, or equivalent work experience in related position.\nExcellent communication skills (verbal and written) which includes phone etiquette and active listening skills\nProficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) \nExperience with ERP/MRP systems and managing a high volume of SKU’s in a fast-paced environment\nDemonstrated success in building and maintaining efficient and effective supplier relationships\nAnalytical skills and decision making critical\nGood organizational skills including ability to prioritize and meet deadlines\nSelf-motivated and able to work independently, as well, as with teams\nEffective interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work with cross-functional
