controlled start-up and operation of the cast line equipment including starting the machine, engaging the feed, observing the operation, and assists changeover process.\nInspects and measures completed pieces to verify conformity to customer production standards.\nMonitors and adjusts controls to ensure product complies with production standards.\nCoaching and mentoring of assistants and helpers by providing clear and precise instructions, if assigned\nMaintains equipment through completion of assigned preventative maintenance tasks and minor repair techniques as required.\nRecords quality and production metrics via written communication methods and within time deadlines, as necessary.\nPerforms all work in a safety-first mentality and with utilization of IPS lean manufacturing skills. \nRelated tasks as requested by supervisor\n\nEssential Skills and Experience\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.\n2+ Years in a Manufacturing Environment experience required\nIntermediate math skills and English written communication skills necessary.\nGeneral computer knowledge and experience handling paperwork.\nAbility to stand and walk for up to 12 hours at a time required\nAbility to work in space limited work area on continuous basis. \nAbility to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis\nAbility to perform the physical aspects of the role following recommended practices, with an emphasis on safety and injury
