This hands-on role combines Microsoft Fabric data engineering, dimensional and semantic modeling, advanced Power BI development, and the responsible use of AI-assisted capabilities to improve insight delivery and user productivity. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic work environment with rapidly shifting priorities, balancing new solution delivery with the modernization of legacy, on-premises data sources and analytics workloads in Microsoft Fabric.\n\nPrinciple Accountabilities\nMicrosoft Fabric & Data Engineering 60%\n• Design, build, and maintain scalable Microsoft Fabric solutions using Lakehouse, OneLake, Data Factory pipelines, notebooks, and Dataflows Gen2.\n• Assess legacy on-premises data sources, integrations, and reporting dependencies; define practical modernization approaches; and migrate or refactor workloads into governed Microsoft Fabric solutions.\n• Develop transformation logic using PySpark/Spark and T-SQL.\n• Design reusable, governed semantic models that support enterprise KPI standardization and self-service analytics.\n• Implement data quality validation, observability, lineage, and governance.\nPower BI, Analytics & AI 40%\n• Develop intuitive, high-impact Power BI semantic models, reports, and executive-level dashboards.\n• Write optimized DAX measures and apply performance, usability, accessibility, and visualization best practices.\n• Conduct business requirements workshops and translate needs into report designs.\n• Support self-service analytics adoption through reusable content, enablement, documentation, and governance.\n• Evaluate and apply AI-assisted analytics capabilities, including Microsoft Copilot experiences, where they provide measurable business value and align with data security and responsible AI standards.\n\nEssential Skills and Experience \n• 4–7 years of experience in data engineering and BI development.\n• Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience.\n• Strong Power BI experience (modeling, DAX, performance tuning).\n• Proficiency in SQL (T-SQL) and PySpark/Python.\n• Experience with Git-based version control.\n\nSkills (Aligned to IPG Values)\n• Integrity and reliability in handling data.\n• Strong teamwork and communication skills.\n• High performance mindset with ownership and accountability.\n• Passion for learning and continuous improvement.\n\nPreferred but not required:\n• Experience with Azure services and Microsoft Purview.\n• Power Platform experience.\n• Background in manufacturing\n• Microsoft
