This role ensures the accurate receipt, inspection, storage, documentation, and shipment of materials and finished goods while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting production schedules. The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator works closely with production, warehouse, customer service, logistics providers, and suppliers to ensure efficient material flow and on-time delivery performance. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal departments and external partners.\n\nPrinciple Accountabilities\nCoordinate and manage all inbound and outbound shipments of materials, components, and finished goods to ensure timely delivery and receipt.\nPrepare and maintain all required shipping documentation including bills of lading, packing lists, shipping labels, invoices, and carrier paperwork.\nSchedule and coordinate freight pickups and deliveries with approved carriers, vendors, and transportation providers.\nTrack shipments and proactively communicate delivery status, delays, shortages, or transportation issues to internal and external stakeholders.\nInvestigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, freight claims, damaged shipments, and transportation-related concerns.\nReceive incoming materials, supplies, and equipment; verify quantities, inspect for damage, and reconcile receipts against purchase orders and packing documentation.\nEnter receiving, shipping, and inventory transactions accurately into the ERP or inventory management system and maintain organized records.\nCoordinate the proper storage, handling, distribution, and inventory rotation of materials to support operational efficiency and product integrity.\nMonitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations.\nSupport production operations by ensuring the timely availability and movement of raw materials, packaging supplies, and components.\nOperate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners, in a safe and efficient manner.\nOrganize warehouse and storage areas to maximize space utilization, maintain inventory accuracy, and minimize product damage.\nServe as the primary point of contact for carriers, suppliers, internal departments, and distribution partners regarding shipping, receiving, and inventory matters.\nCollaborate closely with Production, Purchasing, Planning, Customer Service, and other departments to support customer commitments and operational goals.\nMaintain compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, transportation regulations, and warehouse safety requirements.\nMaintain clean, organized, and safe shipping, receiving, and warehouse areas in accordance with 5S and workplace safety standards.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, shipping performance, and cost reduction.\nProvide excellent customer service to internal and external customers while promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability.\nPerform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.\n\nEssential Skills and Experience\nHigh School diploma or equivalent required.\n2+ years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience in a manufacturing environment.\nProficient in Microsoft Office suite required. \nExperience using ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems.\nExcellent written and oral communication skills required.\nExceptional organizational and time management skills required.\nKnowledge of hazardous materials handling and shipping regulations (DOT, IATA) is beneficial.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities.\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse machinery safely including
