Responsibilities

To proactively identify, engage, close, and strategically manage opportunities for our market-leading and innovative products within the Financial Services sector. The role is focused on building and maintaining a strong, visible sales pipeline, and effectively communicating progress and success. You will be responsible for establishing and nurturing executive-level relationships, driving adoption of iPipeline solutions, and contributing significantly to our ambition to be the market leader in our target segments.

  • Achieve annual sales targets across all relevant iPipeline product lines, with a focus on financial services and insurance.
  • Drive growth in the protection sourcing portal (Portal) market through new logo acquisition and upselling product add-ons.
  • Lead and be accountable for targeted lead generation activities to penetrate key organisations.
  • Qualify opportunities accurately to ensure efficient use of sales resources.
  • Align and execute the Portal sales strategy in line with the broader business and global plans.
  • Communicate complex ideas, challenges, and solutions clearly and effectively.
  • Manage pre-sales resources and contribute to the development of compelling investment justification materials.
  • Engage confidently with C-level executives to advance sales opportunities.
  • Proactively manage key stakeholders within assigned accounts.
  • Provide accurate sales reporting and forecasting to support planning and decision-making.
  • Represent iPipeline professionally, promoting our values and vision to prospects and the wider industry.
  • Collaborate with the Product Team to help shape product roadmaps and requirements.
  • Work closely with Product and Marketing Teams to define go-to-market strategies.
  • Attend and, where appropriate, speak at industry events and seminars.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales within the financial services sector, with a strong track record of securing new business.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating and closing deals.
  • Ability to build, influence, and maintain relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of the Life, Pensions, and Investments industry, including relevant technologies-ideally with experience in policy administration systems and e-signature solutions.
  • Strong grasp of consultative selling techniques, with the ability to collaborate across the client’s buying network to shape tailored solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with a professional and diplomatic approach.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently to achieve goals.
  • Capable of leading bids and contributing effectively as a team member-motivating and supporting colleagues to deliver success.
  • Willing to travel extensively within the UK
