This is a hands-on leadership role involving SAP system administration, operational stability, incident management, team leadership, and client engagement.\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n\nTechnical Delivery :\n\n- Ensure the stability and availability of SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and related applications across production and non-production environments.\n\n- Lead high-severity incidents, technical escalations, root-cause analysis, and complex problem management.\n\n- Manage SAP Basis Application Management Services (AMS), including system monitoring, administration, and transport management.\n\n- Perform client copies, system refreshes, kernel upgrades, support-pack upgrades, patching, and SAP Note implementation.\n\n- Manage user administration, job scheduling, printer configuration, and interface-related activities.\n\n- Plan and execute system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery (DR) drills.\n\n- Ensure incident, change, and problem management processes meet agreed service-level agreements (SLAs).\n\nTeam Leadership :\n\n- Lead, mentor, and develop the SAP Basis team.\n\n- Manage work allocation, shift coverage, workload balancing, and shift handovers.\n\n- Provide operational leadership during second-shift coverage and beyond, when required.\n\n- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), operational runbooks, and known-issue registers.\n\n- Build technical capabilities within the team and reduce dependency on individual resources.\n\nClient Engagement & Governance :\n\n- Act as the primary SAP Basis contact for client stakeholders.\n\n- Manage technical escalations, expectations, and service delivery commitments.\n\n- Conduct weekly and monthly service reviews using operational performance metrics.\n\n- Identify automation, optimization, and continuous-improvement opportunities.\n\n- Align delivery activities with engagement governance and the overall SAP Basis Lead.\n\nMandatory Technical Skills :\n\n- SAP Basis Administration for SAP S/4HANA and ECC.\n\n- SAP Landscape Management (SAP LaMa).\n\n- SAP Focused Run (FRUN) for monitoring, alerting, and system management.\n\n- SAP Process Orchestration / Process Integration (SAP PO/PI) administration and troubleshooting.\n\n- Basis support for Documentum, PCL, or OpenText.\n\n- SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and hyperscaler-hosted SAP workloads.\n\n- Strong Linux, Unix, and Windows operating-system knowledge.\n\n- Database administration, performance management, backup, and recovery across SAP HANA, Oracle, and SQL Server environments.\n\nIdeal Candidate :\n\n- A hands-on SAP Basis leader with strong technical troubleshooting skills, experience managing complex SAP landscapes, proven team leadership, and the ability to
