This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical expertise, team leadership, client engagement, and operational ownership.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nTechnical Delivery\n\n● Own operational stability of SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and surrounding applications across Production & Non-Production.\n● Lead high-severity incidents, complex problem management, RCA, and technical escalations.\n● Manage end-to-end SAP Basis AMS activities including:\n• System monitoring & administration\n• Transport management\n• Client copies / system refreshes\n• Kernel & Support Pack upgrades\n• Patching & SAP Note implementation\n• Printer & interface management\n• User administration & job scheduling.\n\n● Plan and execute system refreshes, migrations, upgrades, and DR drills.\n● Ensure Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes are followed within SLA.\n\nTeam Leadership\n\n● Lead, mentor, and develop the SAP Basis team.\n● Own work allocation, shift coverage, workload balancing, and shift handovers.\n● Provide lead-level operational coverage during and beyond the second shift when required.\n● Build technical depth within the team and reduce key-person dependency.\n● Drive ownership of SOPs, runbooks, and Known Issue Registers.\n\nClient Engagement & Governance\n\n● Act as the primary SAP Basis point of contact for client stakeholders.\n● Manage technical escalations and client expectations.\n● Conduct weekly/monthly service reviews with data-driven reporting.\n● Identify and implement automation, optimization, and continuous-improvement opportunities.\n● Align delivery with engagement governance and the Overall SAP Basis Lead.\n\nMandatory Technical Skills\n\n● SAP Basis Administration – S/4HANA & ECC\n● SAP LaMa – Landscape Management & Automation\n● SAP Focused Run (FRUN) – Monitoring, Alerting & System Management\n● SAP PO/PI – Administration & Troubleshooting\n● Documentum / PCL / OpenText – Basis
