Full-time role in Nairobi.\n\nJob Purpose \n\nThis cadre is responsible for: \n\nConfiguration, maintenance and operation of Authority’s network, servers, desktop, storage infrastructure; and \n\nMaintenance of the Authority’s ICT security systems to secure online and on premise ICT infrastructure; \n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAn officer at this grade will undertake the following duties and responsibilities: \n\nSupporting in implementation of policies, strategies, guidelines, plans, standards and procedures relating to ICT Systems, Network and Security while ensuring compliance to applicable laws, statutes and circulars; \n\nConfiguring, managing, maintaining and ensuring security of ICT infrastructure, programmes and equipment; \n\nImplementing ICT systems and networks; \n\nMaintaining ICT Systems, Network and Security equipment and inventory in the Authority; \n\nProviding ICT Systems, Network and Security technical support in the Authority; \n\nInitiating corrective action, system safeguards and recovery plans in case of disaster or data loss. \n\nUpdating all records in the division; \n\nConsolidating data for compiling internal and external reports in the division; \n\nImplementing risks mitigation measures; and \n\nDeveloping and implementing individual work plans. \n\nQualifications\n\nFor appointment to this grade, an officer must have the following Qualifications: \n\nBachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: – Business Information Technology, Information Communication Technology or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; \n\nProfessional Certification in any two of the following: – Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) and \n\nCertificate in ethical hacking.\n\nHow to Apply\n\nInterested candidates who meet the required qualifications are invited to submit their application ONLINE through the Careers portal on IPOA website at https://www.ipoa.go.ke/ipoa/careers .
