This role combines learning management system (LMS) administration, content development, social media execution, and accessibility compliance to ensure high-quality, user-friendly, and compliant materials for both internal and external audiences.\nThe ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong technical and creative skills who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. Duties will include, but are not limited to:\nLearning Management System (Moodle) Administration\nManage and maintain the organization’s Moodle LMS, including course setup, content uploads, and system organization and administration\nBuild and update course shells, learning modules, and resource libraries\nMonitor course functionality, user engagement, and completion metrics\nProvide basic technical support to staff and program teams using the LMS\nCollaborate with subject matter experts to adapt content for online delivery\nDocument workflows, standards, and best practices for sustained LMS use\nContent Development & Design\nCreate basic visual assets for digital and print communications (e.g., social posts, flyers, presentations)\nSupport development of user-friendly, visually consistent materials aligned with organizational branding\nSocial Media & Digital Communications\nDraft, design, and schedule social media content across social platforms\nMonitor engagement and assist with reporting on social media performance\nSupport website updates and digital content posting as needed\nAssist in the development of newsletters and other communications deliverables\nSection 508 Accessibility & Compliance\nPerform 508 remediation on PowerPoint presentations, PDFs, and other digital documents\nEnsure communications and training materials meet federal and state accessibility standards\nApply best practices for accessible design (e.g., alt text, reading order, color contrast)\nSupport internal teams in improving accessibility compliance across materials\nProject & Team Support\nCollaborate with communications and program teams on cross-functional initiatives\nTrack and manage assigned projects to ensure timely delivery\nParticipate in team meetings and contribute to planning and execution of communications strategies\nSupport special projects, events, and training initiatives as needed\nQUALIFICATIONS\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nExcellent organizational and time-management skills\nAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously\nAttention to detail, particularly in accessibility and compliance requirements\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE\nBachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field, required.\nTwo (2) years of experience with a learning management system (preferably Moodle or similar LMS), required.\nExperience in communications, digital content, or learning support roles, required.\nExperience creating and managing digital content and social media preferred.\nDemonstrated experience with Section 508 accessibility or willingness to learn preferred.\nFamiliarity with Canva or similar design tools, preferred.\nKnowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1) and remediation techniques preferred.\nExperience working in a healthcare, nonprofit, or government contracting environment preferred.\nThis position is office based at our Jericho, NY office.\nThe salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. The annualized salary range for this position is $68,000.00 - $78,000.00.
