Our program is designed to give students practical, hands-on experience in product development within a manufacturing environment. This rotation will focus on developing effective work instructions for our production team. During their time with IPS, students will own at least one end-to-end project while collaborating closely with experienced engineers who provide guidance, support, and professional mentorship.\nYou can expect to gain the following:\nHow to operate within an engineering ecosystem.\nExposure to manufacturing and assembly processes.\nAppreciation for the importance of data integrity and clear communication.\nUnderstanding collaboration with cross functional team members.\nQualifications:\nMust be a student currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.\nIntermediate or Advance level proficiency in Excel.\nMust be able to report to the IPS facility in Collierville, TN.\nStrong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.\nMust be detail-oriented and able to adhere to project timelines.\nExcellent written or oral communication skills.\nHigh degree of interpersonal skills.\nThe employee is occasionally required to stand.
