Join us on our journey towards sustainable growth, creating real impact on patients and society!\nFor more information, visit us at https://www.ipsen.com/ and follow our latest news on LinkedIn and Instagram.\nJob Description:\nPublic Affairs Manager\nLocation: Mexico City, Mexico\nThe Public Affairs Manager is responsible for developing and executing the company's public affairs, government affairs, and public policy strategy, with the objective of shaping a favorable healthcare and regulatory environment, enabling patient access to innovative medicines, and safeguarding the company's operations and reputation.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and implement the country-level Public Affairs strategy aligned with business, market access, and patient access priorities.\nShape healthcare policy and regulatory frameworks to support innovation and access to medicines while identifying policy opportunities and risks impacting the portfolio and pipeline.\nBuild and maintain strategic relationships with government authorities, public healthcare institutions, legislators, policymakers, industry associations, and other key stakeholders.\nDevelop and execute stakeholder engagement plans to advance public affairs, access, and policy objectives.\nMonitor legislative, regulatory, and policy developments, assessing their impact on the healthcare environment, business operations, and market access.\nProvide policy intelligence, strategic insights, and actionable recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.\nDevelop policy positions, advocacy materials, consultation responses, and coordinate engagement initiatives with industry coalitions and external stakeholders.\nCollaborate closely with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Legal, and Compliance teams to support reimbursement, formulary inclusion, public procurement, and Oficio TAM strategies.\nSupport disease awareness initiatives, public health campaigns, and the alignment of external communications with product value propositions.\nIdentify and mitigate policy, regulatory, and reputational risks while ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, ethical, and corporate standards.\nEssential Requirements\nProven experience developing and executing public affairs, government affairs, or healthcare policy strategies.\nStrong understanding of the healthcare, regulatory, and public policy environment.\nExperience building and managing relationships with government authorities, healthcare institutions, policymakers, and industry associations.\nAbility to monitor, analyze, and interpret legislative and regulatory developments and their business implications.\nExperience working cross-functionally with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Legal, and Compliance teams.\nStrong stakeholder engagement, communication, influencing, and advocacy skills.\nDemonstrated ability to identify and manage policy, regulatory, and reputational risks.\nCommitment to compliance, ethics, and responsible stakeholder engagement.\nWe are committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels heard, valued, and supported; where we embrace “The Real Us”.
