Takes on a leadership role in the assigned work cell. Point of contact for the management team regarding open issues that are discovered and require resolution. Perform all tasks involved in the production of IPS Group’s Products. This includes assembling, programming, labeling, assigning, and testing parking meters and other IPS products to successful completion and then packaging them if required. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nSubject matter expert on a particular product\nWorks directly with management and leads in reporting and resolving open issues discovered in the production process\nExperienced in IPS’ assembly processes and procedures\nAbility to train new employees on the assembly of IPS products\nReads routing and performs work as assigned by department supervisor\nScrews, solders, houses, and otherwise assembles the materials to produce sub-assemblies or finished product from loose materials\nAttach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages\nPack finished goods into correct packages and boxes\nNotify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues\nPlace finished goods on the designated pallet\nMaintain a clean and safe work area\nResponsible for business system transactions\nPerforms other related duties and assignments as require\nAll production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production\nQualification/Skills:\nAbility to perform basic math\nS. Diploma Required\nPrior mechanical or electronic assembly desired\nAble to stand for 8 hours with breaks\nReliable and punctual\nPositive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS, EQUIPMENT AND MACHINERY:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
