The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, analyse data, improve data quality, and deliver actionable insights through reporting and analytics solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\n Data analysis and insights\nAnalyse data to identify trends, patterns and business opportunities.\nTranslate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.\nDefine and monitor KPIs, measures and business metrics.\nPerform root cause analysis and data validation activities.\nData enablement and governancePromote data quality, governance standards and best practices.\nMaintain data dictionaries, business glossaries and source-to-target mappings.\nSupport data lineage, metadata management and reporting standards.\nIdentify and remediate data quality issues with relevant stakeholders.\nEnsure compliance with data governance and information management principles.\nRequirements and stakeholder engagementGather, document and validate business, data and reporting requirements.\nFacilitate engagement between business and technical teams.\nCreate functional specifications and data-related documentation.\nSupport testing, user acceptance activities and solution adoption.\nBusiness intelligence and reportingDevelop and maintain reports, dashboards and visualisations.\nTranslate business requirements into meaningful BI solutions.\nPerform report validation and quality assurance.\nSupport self-service reporting and data literacy initiatives.\nTechnical data capabilityUse SQL to extract, transform and validate data.\nUnderstand data models, warehouses, lakes and modern cloud platforms.\nCollaborate with Data Engineers, Architects and BI teams.\nSupport data integration, transformation and analytical solution delivery.\nAI and Modern toolingLeverage AI-enabled tools to improve analysis, documentation and productivity.\nApply responsible AI practices and validate AI-generated outputs.\nMaintain awareness of emerging technologies, analytics and AI trends.\nIdentify opportunities to improve business outcomes through modern data and AI capabilities.\nQualifications\nRelevant Degree, Diploma or equivalent qualification in data, stats, IT or computer science. \nAdvantageousPower BI Certification.\nAzure, AWS or Cloud-related certifications.\nData Governance, Data Management or Business Analysis certifications.\nAI, Analytics or Data-related certifications.\n\nExperience\n4-8 years' experience within Data Analytics, BI, Data Management or related disciplines.\nProven experience analysing data and delivering business insights.\nExperience gathering and documenting requirements.\nExperience with data quality, governance and reporting practices.\nStrong SQL and data analysis capability.\nExperience with Power BI or similar BI platforms.\nExposure to cloud-based data environments and modern data platforms.\nExposure to AI-enabled tools and modern analytics solutions advantageous.\nTool and Skills\nSQL\nPower BI (or similar BI platform)\nData Analysis & Data Profiling\nData Quality & Governance\nData Modelling Concepts\nData Warehousing Concepts\nAzure and/or AWS Exposure\nPython (advantageous)\nGenerative AI & Modern Productivity Tools\nPlease Note:\nAs all iqbusiness roles require honesty in the handling of or access to cash, finances, financial systems, or confidential information;
