Working closely with Engineering, UX/UI, QA, Analytics, Marketing, Content, and business stakeholders, you will operate in a fast-moving environment balancing short-term business needs with longer-term platform priorities. The ideal candidate can shape ambiguous briefs into clear requirements, make transparent prioritisation decisions, and foster alignment across multidisciplinary teams.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProduct Strategy & Roadmap:\nSupport, influence and drive the product vision and roadmap for customer-facing digital experiences\nTranslate organisational strategy, customer needs, and commercial objectives into clear product priorities\nIdentify opportunities to improve customer journeys, conversion, engagement, retention, and the overall digital experience\nBalance short-term business needs with longer-term platform and technical priorities\nReassess priorities continuously using customer feedback, analytics, technical constraints, and business value\nProduct Discovery & Journey Ownership:\nIdentify and define customer and business problems before solutions are committed to development\nPartner with UX, research, analytics, and stakeholders to validate opportunities, define hypotheses, and establish success criteria\nOwn and continuously improve key customer journeys across the website and related digital touchpoints\nIdentify journey friction, advocate for customer needs, and support experimentation, usability testing, and A/B testing\nTechnical Product Management & Backlog:\nWork closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into technically feasible solutions\nUnderstand platform architecture, integrations, APIs, CMS capabilities, data flows, and technical dependencies to guide product decisions\nWeigh trade-offs between speed, scalability, maintainability, performance, and customer experience, while balancing feature development with technical debt\nEnsure accessibility, performance, security, scalability, and reliability are embedded throughout product development\nOwn and maintain the product backlog, defining clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and expected outcomes\nDelivery, Optimisation & Stakeholder Management:\nWork collaboratively with Engineering, QA, and UX/UI to support iterative and incremental delivery\nDefine measurable success criteria and KPIs, using analytics and customer feedback post-release to drive continuous optimisation\nAct as the primary product representative, translating technical considerations into clear business implications\nChallenge solution-led requests where underlying customer or business problems are not sufficiently defined\nCommunicate roadmap decisions, progress, risks, and product outcomes transparently to senior stakeholders\nMinimum Requirements:\nBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (nice-to-have)\n5+ years (or equivalent demonstrated experience) managing digital products, websites, platforms, or customer-facing technology\nDemonstrated experience working closely with software engineers, UX/UI designers, and QA teams in an Agile environment\nProven track record of defining product visions, managing product backlogs, and prioritising roadmaps\nSolid grasp of modern web product development, customer journey design, and software delivery practices\nExperience leveraging analytics, behavioural data, and experimentation to inform product decisions\nExperience with B2C digital products or high-traffic customer-facing websites (advantageous)\nExperience in E-commerce, education, subscription services, marketplaces, or transactional digital experiences (advantageous)\nConversion rate optimisation (CRO) and customer journey mapping experience (advantageous)\nStrong delivery and project management capability is required, with the ability to plan and drive initiatives from discovery through execution, manage timelines, dependencies, risks and stakeholders, and ensure work progresses to successful completion.\nSkills Required:\nDriven by measurable outcomes (conversion, engagement, adoption) rather than project completion output\nAble to translate complex user and business needs into actionable, data-informed product decisions\nSufficient technical depth to engage with engineers on platform architecture, data flows, and technical trade-offs\nCapable of managing competing stakeholder interests transparently using customer value and effort frameworks\nStrong partner to engineering, design, and business functions; unblocks teams and removes ambiguity\nAble to translate technical constraints into business risks and present design/product rationale to non-technical audiences\nComfortable navigating ambiguity, continuously re-evaluating priorities, and advocating for product health\nDelivery and project management skills are essential for this role.
