The Finance Manager is the senior finance presence for their region, responsible for ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet and P&L, managing statutory and regulatory obligations, and working closely with the wider finance team including the Bangalore-based shared services function.\nThis is a hands-on role with genuine scope to make an impact - building robust finance processes, driving compliance across multiple entities and acting as a key finance point of contact for commercial and operational stakeholders.\nKey Responsibilities\nMonth-End Close & Financial Control\nOwn month-end and year-end close for all entities within the region\nEnsure statutory and regulatory compliance across the regional P&L and balance sheet\nMaintain balance sheet integrity and ensure reconciliations are completed to a high standard\nPrepare monthly regional analysis for the Head of Regional Finance\nStatutory & Regulatory Compliance\nManage all statutory reporting and audit obligations for entities within the region\nAct as primary contact for external auditors and statutory advisors\nEnsure all regulatory filings and compliance obligations are completed accurately and on time\nLiaise with external tax advisors on compliance obligations as required\nRevenue Recognition\nLead revenue recognition processes within the region, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards\nWork with Sales and Legal to review contract terms for billing accuracy\nEnsure revenue recognition policies are documented and consistently applied across all entities\nWorking Capital & AR\nSupport on regional AR queries, disputes and collections strategy\nReview the aged debtor position and provide input on regional collections approach\nLiaise across the finance team on AR activity and aged debtor management\nTeam Leadership & Development\nAct as functional lead for the regional Accountant, supporting their close work, compliance activity and professional development\nBuild strong cross-functional relationships with commercial, legal and operational stakeholders\nSupport the development of the wider regional finance team and contribute to a high-performance finance culture\nSkills & Experience\nEssential\nQualified accountant - ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent\nStrong working knowledge of IFRS and applicable local accounting standards\nExperience managing statutory and regulatory compliance across multiple entities\nStrong balance sheet reconciliation skills and a control-first mindset\nERP experience - NetSuite, Oracle, SAP or similar\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across time zones and with remote teams\nHigh attention to detail and a methodical, organised approach to close processes\nDesirable\nRevenue recognition experience in a software or SaaS environment (IFRS 15)\nExperience managing cross-border transactions and multi-entity, multi-currency close\nSoftware, SaaS or technology sector background\nExperience managing or mentoring junior finance team members\nExperience working with shared services or offshore finance teams\nWhat’s in It for You?\n25 days of paid holiday, with the opportunity to purchase up to 5 extra days (total 30)\nSHINE employee ownership program\nCompany-matched pension contributions up to 6% of base salary\nPrivate medical insurance (Bupa) & health cash plan\nLife assurance (4x gross salary) & incapacity benefit\nEnhanced maternity leave policy\nEV company car scheme (salary sacrifice) & cycle-to-work scheme (salary sacrifice)\nGive as you earn charity scheme & paid volunteering day each year\nCareer development opportunities (mentorship program, training, etc.)\nHome office support for remote workers\nFlexibility & Work-Life Balance\nWe support hybrid and flexible working arrangements for all employees.
