Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Director, Software Development to lead the design, development, and delivery of modern cloud-native enterprise applications. This leadership role combines technical strategy, solution architecture, people management, software delivery, and engineering excellence.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in .NET, React, Python, PostgreSQL, Microservices, AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD, along with strong experience in software architecture, project management, and team leadership. Experience with Agentic AI, MCP Servers, and AI-enabled application development is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Leadership
- Lead and mentor multiple software engineering teams.
- Drive engineering best practices, code quality, security, and operational excellence.
- Build and develop high-performing teams through coaching and career development.

Solution Architecture & Design
- Define scalable, secure, and resilient technology architectures.

Software Development & Delivery
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle.

- Promote DevOps, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code, and Engineering Excellence practices.
- Improve observability, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
AI & Innovation
- Evaluate and implement Agentic AI solutions.

- Support MCP Server architecture and integrations.
- Explore emerging technologies and recommend strategic improvements.
Project & Program Management

Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Master's Degree preferred.

- 10+ years of software development experience.
- 5+ years of engineering leadership or management experience.
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale software development programs.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams.
