This highly visible leadership role will define enterprise quality strategy, advance automation and AI-enabled testing capabilities, and build the teams, processes, and standards that drive quality at scale.\nPartnering closely with Engineering, Product, DevOps, Security, and Executive Leadership, you will play a key role in shaping how quality is delivered across the organization while influencing the future of software delivery at IQVIA.\nKey Responsibilities\nQuality Strategy & Engineering Excellence\nDefine and execute the enterprise Quality Engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap.\nEstablish scalable quality standards, governance frameworks, KPIs, and best practices.\nChampion a quality-first culture across the software development lifecycle.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality, reliability, and delivery performance.\nQuality Transformation & Innovation\nLead the adoption of automation, AI-enabled testing, intelligent quality analytics, and observability practices.\nEvaluate and implement modern testing frameworks, methodologies, and technologies.\nIdentify opportunities to leverage AI and Machine Learning to improve testing effectiveness, quality outcomes, and engineering productivity.\nOrganizational Leadership\nBuild, mentor, and develop high-performing QA leaders, managers, and engineering teams.\nFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.\nSupport talent development, succession planning, workforce planning, and organizational growth.\nLead distributed teams and drive alignment across functions and geographies.\nBusiness Partnership & Delivery Excellence\nPartner with Engineering, Product, Security, DevOps, and Operations leaders to embed quality throughout the delivery lifecycle.\nUtilize quality insights and metrics to improve decision-making, reduce risk, and enhance customer experience.\nCommunicate quality strategy, performance, opportunities, and risks to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.\nAlign quality initiatives with broader organizational objectives and business priorities.\n\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n10+ years of progressive experience in Software Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Software Testing.\n5+ years of leadership experience managing managers, teams, and enterprise-scale quality programs.\nProven success building, scaling, and transforming Quality Engineering organizations.\nStrong understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, test automation, and modern software delivery practices.\nExperience establishing quality metrics, governance frameworks, and continuous improvement programs.\nExceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nPreferred\nExperience implementing AI-enabled testing, Generative AI, or Machine Learning solutions within Quality Engineering.\nExperience supporting on-premises and cloud-native platforms.\nKnowledge of performance, security, reliability, and observability practices.\nExperience leading globally distributed engineering teams.\n\nWhy IQVIA\n\nJoin a global organization where technology, innovation, and healthcare come together to make a meaningful impact.
