Document results accurately, support laboratory quality activities, and collaborate with colleagues to maintain safe and efficient operations.\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nPerform and document analytical procedures in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelines\nAnalyze routine data, identify unusual results or potential performance errors, and escalate findings to senior laboratory personnel\nPrepare analytical results for upload into the Laboratory Information Management System under the guidance of senior staff\nPrepare buffers and solutions and perform assigned calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment\nAssist with quality investigations, deviations, procedural updates, and the implementation of laboratory process changes\nTrain and guide laboratory personnel in areas of demonstrated competency and support the onboarding of new team members\nCommunicate clearly and promptly with cross-functional stakeholders and represent the laboratory team on assigned projects\nSupport laboratory safety, quality, inventory, and 6S requirements and initiatives\nWhat We Are Looking For:\nA bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Certain CAP/CLIA laboratory locations may require a Bachelor of Science in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or cytotechnology\nSix months of experience in a regulated laboratory environment is preferred\nBasic knowledge of the assigned technical area, laboratory systems, procedures, and applicable regulatory standards, such as Good Laboratory Practices\nProficiency with relevant laboratory techniques, including buffer and solution preparation, equipment calibration, and equipment maintenance\nExperience working with laboratory automation or specialized laboratory equipment\nProficiency with routine and selected non-routine laboratory calculations, including averages, means, standard deviations, batch calculations, specimen calculations, and quality control metrics\nApplicable certification or certifications required by country, state, or other regulatory bodies must be maintained\nOther equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree\nThe Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:\nKnowledge of laboratory safety, infection control, standard precautions, and hazardous chemical handling practices\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify and document unexpected or unusual results\nAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and collaborate effectively with internal and cross-functional stakeholders\nGood computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel\nClear written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated understanding of laboratory responsibilities\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
