This position is an individual contributor role, working closely with our team of Therapeutic Analytic Leads and other key stakeholders to support development of clinical trial strategies. The Global Analyst will inform quality decision making at the indication, program, and study level, with potential for additional opportunities impacting automation and innovation goals.\nResponsibilities:\nUtilize the IQVIA Connected-intelligence data sets and resources to define and enhance clinical trial strategy, both pre- and post-award \nCommunicate with internal stakeholders to align on requirements, capabilities, and delivery of data analytics \nDrive the methodology and implementation of data analytics deliverables, including country evaluation and ranking, competitive landscape assessment, historical recruitment analysis, patient density analytics, and the generation of tiered site lists\nCoordinate the collection of site outreach data to support development of the country/site strategy\nPotential to manage country-specific data assets through collaboration with local teams, promote innovation, and participate in ongoing training and knowledge sharing \nQualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics or related field \n2-3 years of experience in data analytics, clinical research, or consulting in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industries or a combination of experience and advanced research degree (Master’s degree, Ph.D., or a Doctor of Pharmacy equivalent)\nGeneral knowledge of clinical trial terminology and drug development processes\nExperience working with global teams is preferred\nExperience leveraging business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau would be a plus\nExperience working with large volumes of electronic data, such as medical claims, sales, prescriptions, electronic medical records/electronic health records, or similar would be a plus\nSkills\nProficiency using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint\nProficiency using Python and SQL is a plus\nLogical approach to problem solving and task prioritization \nAbility to acquire new skills and evolve to new systems \nExcellent communication (verbal and written English)\nStrong attention to detail \nIQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
