May Collaborate with global management team and integrated partners to develop and implement strategic initiatives/solutions to expand business, partnership, strengthen overall relationship and ensure global consistency\nEssential Functions\nManage start-up of new projects using standard operating procedures and best practices, including identifying potential risks during project initiation and implementing mitigation measures to ensure seamless delivery at maintenance stage.\nManage customer interface and communication for assigned projects/programs.\nRepresent Lifecycle Safety on projects/programs and serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers.\nLiaise between customers and Lifecycle Safety operational teams.\nManage customer deliverables for assigned projects/programs.\nProvide day-to-day customer-facing leadership at the project/program level.\nOversee project planning, timelines, deliverables, scope management, quality management, and project financial management.\nAct as Solution Architect for new standalone Safety business opportunities.\nDevelop and defend proposed solutions, pricing strategies, and budget assumptions.\nServe as Safety Subject Matter Expert (SME) for governance, executive teams, and integrated partners.\nProvide leadership and accountability for customer-facing collateral and operational support.\nCollaborate cross-functionally to deliver key customer messages and strategic initiatives.\nEnsure global consistency in customer-facing materials, presentations, and meetings.\nLead customer service activities from project scoping through proposal generation, bid defense, transition, and delivery.\nManage project finances, including revenue recognition, invoicing, budget reviews, financial analysis, and change orders.\nMonitor project performance through key financial metrics such as revenue, costs, and contribution margin.\nDevelop specialist expertise and support departmental, regional, or global initiatives as an SME.\nPartner with sales and proposal teams to support business opportunities and customer needs.\nDrive customer loyalty through strong relationships, service excellence, and effective communication.\nLead meetings with internal and external stakeholders and provide project updates and planning strategies.\nLead and coordinate Lifecycle Safety virtual project teams.\nEnsure project delivery aligns with customer expectations through close collaboration with operational teams.\nSupport sales presentations, bid defenses, and proposal development activities.\nDefine project scope and processes while incorporating strategic options for customers.\nBuild long-term customer partnerships and support contract renewals and business growth.\nIdentify and pursue additional opportunities with existing customers.\nDevelop innovative, cross-functional solutions to meet evolving customer needs.\nParticipate in client and internal audits and inspections.\nCollaborate with Quality Assurance on corrective action plans.\nWork with Lifecycle Safety Management to resolve operational issues and customer concerns.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Health Sciences or a related field.\n4-6 years of clinical research experience in a CRO or pharmaceutical company, including:4 years in Lifecycle Safety (Pharmacovigilance, CEVA, Medical Information, Safety Publishing, Risk Management, etc.).\n2 years of project management experience.\n\nEquivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.\nStrong knowledge of global, regional, and local clinical research regulations (GCP, ICH, IQVIA SOPs).\nWorking knowledge of Lifecycle Safety service lines and willingness to expand expertise.\nStrong leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills.\nExcellent project management, planning, and organizational skills.\nPMP certification or equivalent preferred.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to build networks and lead teleconferences.\nStrong collaboration, delegation, and organizational skills.\nAbility to establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, managers, and customers.\nAbility to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.\nComfortable working in ambiguous environments.\nBusiness-oriented mindset with marketing and sales capabilities.\nStrong presentation, report writing, and customer relationship skills.\nAbility to achieve results through communication, facilitation, and negotiation in matrix organizations.\nStrong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nBusiness acumen and financial analysis capabilities, including budgeting and planning.\nCustomer-focused with strong relationship-building skills.\nEffective influencing, motivating, and conflict-resolution abilities.\nIQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
