This is a senior hands-on engineering role responsible for designing, building, and scaling security-focused applications, integrations, and AI-powered solutions across the enterprise.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong software engineering expertise with architecture experience, cloud platforms, and modern AI development. You will help define engineering standards, drive secure development practices, and lead the creation of enterprise-scale automation and agent-based solutions used across global security teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and develop applications, automations, and integrations using Python and Node.js.\nBuild enterprise-scale AI agents, agentic workflows, and reusable AI frameworks using AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, and related technologies.\nDesign and implement integrations across security platforms, enterprise systems, and cloud services.\nDevelop and maintain REST, SOAP, and MCP integrations.\nLead infrastructure and deployment automation using Terraform, AWS CDK, and Ansible.\nSupport CI/CD engineering, DevSecOps practices, and GitLab automation.\nEstablish secure coding standards, engineering patterns, and development guardrails.\nPartner with Security, Architecture, DevOps, Platform Engineering, Data, and Development teams globally.\nDocument solutions, architecture decisions, and technical standards.\nRequired Qualifications\n6+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Application Security, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, or related fields.\nStrong hands-on development experience with Python and Node.js.\nExperience designing and building applications from architecture through production deployment.\nExperience developing AI agents, agentic workflows, or AI-powered applications.\nStrong knowledge of AWS services, including AWS Bedrock, Terraform, AWS CDK, and cloud-native architectures.\nExperience with REST APIs, SOAP services, enterprise integrations, and MCP concepts.\nStrong experience with GitLab CI/CD and secure deployment practices.\nExperience designing large-scale platforms, system architecture, and database integrations.\nExperience building enterprise solutions from scratch, not only consuming existing APIs.\nStrong understanding of secure software development and secure-by-design principles.\nExperience with Snowflake, enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, or data engineering concepts.\nAdvanced English communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.\nExperience in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries.\nExperience defining engineering standards and leading technical delivery.\nAWS, Azure, CSSLP, or related certifications.\nIQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
