Engineering lifecycle management activities including provisioning, IaC, upgrades, patching, capacity expansion, delivering on engineering roadmap\nEnsure platform reliability, availability, resiliency, and operational excellence across our environments.\nInfrastructure Automation & DevOps\nDevelop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Ansible, Terraform, Gitlab, and CI/CD pipelines.\nCreate reusable automation frameworks and engineering tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort. \nBuild and operate hybrid data platform services spanning TLS, RBAC, and regulatory compliance requirements.\nConduct security reviews and platform hardening activities.\nPerformance Engineering\nPerform performance analysis and tuning of platform services.\nOptimize compute, storage, network, and application layer configurations.\nConduct capacity planning, forecasting, and scalability assessments.\nAssist application teams with performance troubleshooting and platform best practices.\nPlatform Integration & Customer Enablement\nIntegrate data platforms with enterprise services such as Active Directory, monitoring tools, observability platforms, cloud storage, and Kubernetes ecosystems.\nCollaborate with architecture, application, security, and infrastructure teams.\nProvide technical guidance to internal customers leveraging the platform. \nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.\n10+ years of experience in platform engineering, Systems Engineering role\nStrong Linux administration experience.\nExperience supporting distributed systems and enterprise infrastructure on multi-petabytes scale, managing clusters spanning 1000s of servers.\nExperience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages.\nExperience with Gitlab and CI/CD methodologies.\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and
