Working closely with Data Engineers, Developers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders, you will validate complex data workflows, execute ETL testing, perform data quality analysis, and help deliver reliable data solutions that drive business outcomes.\nIdeal Candidate:\nThe ideal candidate is an experienced Data QA professional with strong SQL and ETL testing expertise who can independently validate complex data pipelines, identify data quality issues, and collaborate effectively across technical and business teams. They have a keen attention to detail, a strong quality mindset, and a proven ability to ensure reliable, accurate, and high-quality data delivery in fast-paced project environments.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPerform data quality checks and validation on data received from multiple internal and external sources.\nDesign and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases, and validation scenarios for data integration and ETL initiatives.\nValidate data across different stages of ETL and data processing pipelines.\nWrite and execute SQL queries to verify data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and business rule compliance.\nPerform data reconciliation and identify discrepancies across source and target systems.\nInvestigate, document, track, and verify defects through resolution using defect management tools.\nExecute regression, integration, and release validation testing activities.\nMaintain QA documentation, test evidence, validation results, and defect records.\nCollaborate with Data Engineers, Developers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to ensure data quality requirements are met.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to testing processes, data quality standards, and QA best practices.\nEnsure compliance with organizational policies and procedures when handling sensitive and confidential healthcare data.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.\n4+ years of experience in Data Quality Assurance, Data Testing, ETL Testing, or Software Quality Assurance.\nStrong hands-on experience with SQL for data validation, testing, and analysis.\nExperience testing ETL processes, data migrations, data integration solutions, or data warehouse environments.\nStrong understanding of data validation techniques, data quality principles, and testing methodologies.\nExperience creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.\nExperience working with defect tracking and test management tools.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience working with healthcare or regulated data environments.\nExperience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect management tools.\nExposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.\nExperience validating large data sets and complex data transformations.\nFamiliarity with data warehouse and reporting environments.\nIQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
