You will work with modern technologies including Java, Python, Snowflake, AWS, and big data frameworks to build reliable, high-performance systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.\nMajor Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and ETL/data pipelines using Java and Python.\nBuild and optimize data processing workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.\nDevelop software solutions that support business analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.\nWork with large datasets and cloud-based data platforms to ensure data quality and integrity.\nIntegrate applications and data pipelines with AWS services such as S3 and Lambda.\nImplement automated testing, monitoring, and quality assurance practices.\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to CI/CD and DevOps best practices.\nCollaborate with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality solutions.\nTroubleshoot production issues and continuously improve system performance and maintainability.\nAdhere to software engineering best practices and Agile development methodologies.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.\n2-4 years of professional experience in software development, backend engineering, or data engineering.\nStrong hands-on experience with Python and Java\nGood knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases and large datasets.\nExperience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, MapReduce, or similar technologies.\nHands-on experience with AWS cloud services, particularly S3, Lambda, and related services.\nExperience using Git and version control best practices.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software development lifecycle practices.\nUnderstanding of Agile development methodologies and collaborative development environments.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.\nGood to Have\nExperience with Snowflake and Snowpark.\nKnowledge of workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or AWS Step Functions.\nUnderstanding of data governance, data lineage, and data quality concepts.\nExposure to application monitoring, observability, and performance optimization.\nKnowledge of software security principles and secure coding practices.\nExperience working with distributed systems and cloud-native applications.\nExperience in healthcare, analytics, or data-driven product environments.\nIQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
