This position plays a critical role in delivering roadmap commitments, enabling innovation, and fostering a collaborative, results-oriented engineering culture.\nMajor Responsibilities:\nLead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.\nOwn engineering delivery by driving execution of roadmaps, project milestones, release plans, and strategic initiatives.\nPartner with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, security, infrastructure, and quality engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.\nEstablish and continuously improve engineering processes, quality standards, operational practices, and performance metrics.\nEnsure operational readiness, observability, monitoring, supportability, reliability, and performance of applications in production environments.\nProvide technical leadership through architecture reviews, design discussions, and engineering governance to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.\nManage project risks, dependencies, resource allocation, capacity planning, and delivery timelines across multiple initiatives.\nConduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, career development planning, and succession planning for team members.\nLead production support governance, incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and remediation efforts for critical business applications.\nChampion automation, AI-assisted engineering practices, developer productivity improvements, and continuous delivery capabilities.\nDrive engineering excellence through adoption of modern development practices, quality-first approaches, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nEnsure compliance with organizational standards, security requirements, and software development best practices.\nRequired Experiences:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.\n8+ years of hands-on software development experience building, delivering, and supporting enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies.\n 2+ years of experience in a Software Development Manager, Engineering Lead, Technical Lead, or equivalent leadership role with people management responsibilities.\nProven success leading software engineering teams through the complete Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements and design through deployment and production support.\nDemonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects, delivery commitments, and cross-functional dependencies.\nStrong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills with the ability to influence outcomes across both technical and business teams.\nProven ability to balance business priorities, technical excellence, delivery commitments, and resource constraints within a fast-paced environment.\nRequired Skills:\nExpert-level experience developing and supporting enterprise applications using .NET Framework, .NET Core/.NET, SQL Server, Blazor, ReactJS, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS.\nStrong experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs and enterprise services for scalable and maintainable solutions.\nHands-on experience building modern web applications and backend services using .NET Core/.NET and related frameworks.\nStrong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and enterprise application development practices.\nDeep understanding of SDLC methodologies, Agile delivery frameworks, source control, release management, and engineering governance.\nExperience implementing CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, API governance, versioning strategies, and integration best practices.\nHands-on experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence to manage engineering execution, requirements, defects, and project delivery.\nStrong expertise in SQL Server database design, performance optimization, indexing, query tuning, and data architecture.\nExperience with application monitoring, observability, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.\nKnowledge of automated testing practices, including unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.\nUnderstanding of secure software development principles and application security best practices.\nDesirable Skills (Good to Have)\nExperience leading engineering teams within healthcare, payer, provider, life sciences, or other highly regulated industries.\nExperience working with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.\nFamiliarity with healthcare interoperability standards, including FHIR, HL7, EDI, and healthcare claims processing.\nExperience implementing DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and modern deployment strategies.\nExposure to enterprise architecture, cloud migration, and digital transformation initiatives.
