The ideal candidate is passionate about software engineering, enjoys solving complex problems, and is committed to writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.\nMajor Responsibilities:\nAnalyze business and technical requirements and contribute to solution design.\nDevelop, enhance, and maintain applications using Java and related technologies.\nWrite clean, efficient, and testable code following industry best practices.\nPerform unit testing, debugging, and defect resolution.\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining coding standards.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation as required.\nProvide technical support and guidance to team members when needed.\nIdentify opportunities to improve application quality, performance, and development processes.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).\n2+ years of software development experience.\n Hands-on experience with Java application development.\nGood understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.\nExperience working with at least one database management system (DBMS).\nExperience writing and maintaining unit tests.\nStrong problem-solving and debugging skills.\nProcess-oriented mindset with a focus on software quality and delivery.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nGood to Have:\nExperience with Groovy and/or Grails.\nFamiliarity with Git/GitLab and version control best practices.\nExperience working with AWS services, including Lambda and SQS.\nKnowledge of application security, secure coding practices, and OWASP guidelines.\nExperience analyzing and optimizing application performance.\nExperience with Docker and Kubernetes.\nExposure to CI/CD practices and modern software development workflows.\nIQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
