If platforms such as Databricks, DBT, Spark, Kafka, Apache Beam, Airflow, Hadoop, Hive, Kibana, and StackStorm excite you, this role offers the opportunity to shape enterprise-scale data solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nArchitect and manage large-scale data streams using Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, HBase, and Impala.\nDefine and implement migration strategies, designing frameworks for seamless data ingestion into the Data Lake.\nDeliver end-to-end technical expertise in NoSQL architecture, design, and development.\nCommunicate complex technical concepts effectively across all organizational levels.\nLead application design and contribute to software development (70%), including hands-on troubleshooting, optimization, and performance tuning.\nPartner with offerings development teams to build new capabilities leveraging BDF components aligned to business objectives.\nDemonstrate hands-on expertise with Databricks, DBT, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, including integration of disparate datasets.\nPerform data pre-processing using Hive, Spark, and DBT.\nApply strong experience with the Azure Portal for resource management, monitoring, and workload optimization.\nLeverage knowledge of AI technology stacks; experience in Machine Learning and Agent development is a plus.\nEnsure adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle, including CI/CD with Jenkins, GitlLab, JIRA, and Agile practices.\nOperate independently on emergent tasks, exercising judgment to escalate when necessary.\nExhibit patience, organization, and attention to detail in all deliverables.\nMinimum Education and Experience\n12+ years of IT experience.\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.\nPhysical Requirements\nExtensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate speech perception.\nWillingness to work in the UK time zone.\nFrequent keyboard use requiring repetitive finger motion.\nRegular sitting for extended periods.\nOccasional travel as required.\nIQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
