This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in large-scale data environments, scripting, database technologies, and production support operations.\nEssential Functions\nSupport and maintain production applications, data processes, and operational workflows.\nAnalyze existing code, scripts, and data processes to diagnose and resolve production issues.\nDevelop and implement fixes, enhancements, and automation solutions to improve system reliability and efficiency.\nMonitor production processes and ensure business-critical applications continue to operate effectively.\nCollaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to transition new solutions into production support.\nParticipate in root cause analysis and recommend long-term improvements to reduce recurring issues.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support guides.\nLeverage scripting and automation to streamline operational support activities.\nContinuously learn and expand technical expertise in large-scale data platforms and modern development technologies.\nRequired Skills & Experience\n1-3 years of experience in software development, application support, systems support, or a related technical role.\nExperience with Shell Scripting in a Linux/Unix environment.\nExperience working with SQL and relational databases.\nAbility to read, understand, troubleshoot, and support existing code and scripts.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to learn new technologies quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with Hadoop or other large-scale data platforms.\nExposure to Python scripting and automation.\nExperience with Oracle databases.\nExperience supporting production applications and operational systems.\nKnowledge of application monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management processes.\nFamiliarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.\nEquivalent combination of education and relevant work experience will also be considered.\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe are looking for a motivated and technically curious professional who enjoys solving problems and continuously improving systems.
