The individual will work closely with business analysts, developers, DBAs, and stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-quality data solutions. \nEssential Functions\nCarries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet minimum organization standards and end-user requirements.\nWrites test plans and detailed test scripts supporting test cases derived from an analysis of functional requirements and programming specifications, perform unit, functional, integration, system, regression, user acceptance, backend, database, and data validation testing to ensure quality and reliability of applications and data solutions. \nThoroughly tests software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects prior to implementation.\nDocuments and works to resolve all problems.\nDevises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations.\nPerforms work flow analysis and recommends quality improvements.\nEstablishes software quality standards for life cycle, documentation, development methods, testing and maintenance.\nEstablishes advanced software test standards and methods and conducts complex software tests.\nAnalyze business, functional, and technical requirements; participate in solution design; enhance, maintain, and validate SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, reports, data extracts, and other database objects to support business and reporting requirements. \nDesign, support, execute, and validate ETL processes, database solutions, and data workflows, ensuring accurate data movement, transformation logic, business rule compliance, data integrity, and operational stability across source and target systems. \nConduct data reconciliation, source-to-target validation, data quality analysis, and report verification to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with business requirements. \nMonitor, troubleshoot, test, and validate SQL jobs, batch processes, applications, databases, ETL workflows, and production releases; identify issues, implement fixes, and recommend performance and reliability improvements. \nIdentify, document, track, and verify defects; participate in root cause analysis, defect triage, peer reviews, and resolution activities while ensuring adherence to development standards and quality expectations. \nCollaborate with developers, QAs, DBAs, business analysts, and stakeholders to review requirements and technical specifications, deliver scalable and high-quality solutions, communicate status and quality metrics, and support deployments, release validation, production verification, and post-release testing. \nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing practices, testing processes, test coverage, automation opportunities, and overall solution quality, while performing additional responsibilities assigned by management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2-4 years of experience in validating data-centric applications. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and complex SQL query development. Experience developing and testing stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and database jobs. Experience working with ETL processes and data integration solutions. Strong understanding of database design principles, data validation, and data quality concepts. Experience validating data transformations, mappings, and source-to-target reconciliations. Familiarity with reporting solutions and report validation techniques. Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and defect management processes. Experience using tools such as Jira, SPIRA, or TestRail. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in Azure DevOps and Test automation will be an added advantage. Preferred Experience with report development and support using SSRS, ETL or similar reporting platforms. Basic understanding of automation testing frameworks and scripting. Experience in data warehousing, healthcare, or enterprise reporting environments. Familiarity with release management, and DevOps practices. Knowledge of performance testing and database optimization techniques.
