The role acts as a central coordination point between vendors, internal stakeholders, and IQVIA Risk and MyVendor teams to enable timely vendor setup, accurate qualification and ongoing periodic reviews.\nEssential Functions\nReview and align existing vendor qualifications within IQVIA’s Vendor Qualification Solution, including assessment of spend and intended use, to ensure qualifications remain fit for purpose.\nLiaise with business stakeholders on vendor prioritization (for submissions)\nPerform as-needed data analysis to help determine recommendations for qualification and subsequent vendor submissions\nPrepare and complete vendor qualification submissions end-to-end, applying judgment to determine appropriate scope, commodity classification, and qualification requirements.\nConsult & advise business stakeholders and vendors on vendor qualification questions and commodity selection to ensure accurate submissions.\nAct as the primary coordination point between vendors, business stakeholders, and IQVIA Risk SMEs to drive qualification completion.\nTrack qualification progress and follow up to prevent delays or lapses.\nAct as an internal subject matter expert on Vendor Qualification for IQVIA Laboratories, and other RDS BUs as assigned.\nDevelop and continuously improve intake process from stakeholders (how to request vendor adds, vendor ‘catch up’ work)\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Quality Management, or a related field; equivalent experience considered\nPrior 3 year's experience in vendor management, procurement operations, quality/compliance, or data-driven administrative roles.\nExperience working with vendor qualification systems (e.g., Aravo) or similar compliance platforms is highly desirable.\nBackground in laboratory, pharmaceutical, CRO, or regulated environments is an advantage.\nStrong ability to review, interpret, and reconcile spend data against qualification requirements.\nSolid understanding of procurement processes, vendor onboarding workflows, and qualification documentation.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for data extraction and analysis.\nExcellent communication skills for engaging with vendors, end users, risk SMEs, and cross-functional teams.\nAbility to clearly explain qualification requirements, gather missing information, and manage expectations.\nHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent vendor submissions and periodic reviews.\nProven ability to work through large backlogs methodically while maintaining accuracy and compliance.\nStrong time-management skills to meet deadlines and support business-critical vendor enablement.\nAbility to track progress, maintain documentation, and ensure audit-ready records.\nDetail-oriented with the ability to identify qualification gaps and ensure alignment with intended use.\nStrong teamwork skills and willingness to collaborate across operational, risk, and procurement functions.\nIQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
